インフォグラフィック作成／共有プラットフォームのvisual.lyは、公式ブログでウェブ上のオープンデータ（第三者が利用できるように一般に公開された調査データ）に関する記事を投稿している。

『ウェブ上でオープンデータを見つけられる30の場所（30 Places to Find Open Data on the Web）』と名付けられた同記事では。大きく7つのカテゴリにオープンデータのソースを分け、詳細まで含めると30種類を紹介している。
